Guys it is like 3 more days to freedom for most of u who are still struggling with your exams.
So in the midst of your exams we have this month long event called SGB, some of u have been helping out in the booth, opening and what have you. And in this season of giving, we as a family chose to give our time, sweat and even at times money to the poor and needy. But beyond that, as I was thinking, it is not so much that the recipients of our efforts that benefit more, rather it is us who are giving.
Think for just one moment, thru this journey of giving we have learnt much about the plight of those having cancer. Some of us are even going to visit some of them at their home and have a meal of sorts hearing what they have to go thru upfront. And I believe the more we know, the more we would be grateful for the things we have, our physical condition, our family situation and generally where we are right now.
So I do hope that as we serve, we will remember to learn and reflect on the different experiences in life.
